My first few days of college life :)
Hey everyone, I'm alive, safe and sound, I'm sure no one was reallyworried. The past couple days have flown by so fast. Classes have already
started and homework is piling up. Can you believe I already have 3 quizzes
next week? Oh yeah, and a test.
Here's what a typical day is like:
5:50am Jump into the shower and get ready as soon as possible.
7:30am Room inspection (if you're beds aren't made you get 5 demerits!)
8:00am First class of the day
9:00am Second class
10:00am Chapel services
11:00am Lunch if you have time
12:00 noon 3rd class
1:00 4th class which happens to be P.E. I'm taking tennis!!!!!!
2:00 Last class
5-7:00 dinner, whenever you get a chance in between the studying.
Sometimes we'll have collegian meetings or some other meeting every couple
of days.
10:30 Prayer and Share time
11:00 Lights Out
Of course not every day is like that, but that is how my Wednesdays are.
We only get 10 minutes to get from one class to the other. So after I
play an hour of tennis in the 90 degree heat I have to run up 6 flights of
stairs to my math class! Poor fellow math students!
Speech so far is my favorite subject; I have my first speech due on
Tuesday. I'm writing it on the Eschbach's New Year's Eve party when I,
along with some others jumped into Lake Whatcom at midnight!
Microcomputer's is pretty fun also, but we have to get our homework off the
net and I can't find the sight for it! We have a quiz on that homework on
Monday. Uh-oh.......
Accounting or English/Grammar may be a little challenging, mainly because
my teachers are scary, but I still like them. All my other classes should
be fine. For tennis we have to take a physical fitness exam at the end of
the semester which includes running a mile in a certain time frame, 100
crunches and 100 push-ups (I think the push-ups can be girl style).
That'll be interesting to see how that turns out.
So far the only alligator I've seen was in my dreams last night, but
believe me that was close enough!
I really do love it down here; I feel that this is where I'm supposed to
be. I thank God every night that Karin is down here with me. I really
don't know what I would have done the first few days without her.
Gotta run; I and some friends are going to the commons to study before our
first collegian meeting. I'll write more next Saturday.

Ohhhh, Kimi's a real college girl now! I'm gonna be one, too, in a week from today. :) I'm so excited, I get to buy my books today. Thanks for keeping us updated, Kims. Miss you lots!
Thank you for the update Kimi. So nice to hear that you are well and adjusting. It sounds like you will be far to busy to get into trouble but somehow I wonder if you still won't find the time for a little mischeif? LOL Take care and looking foward to your next update.
