Work? On a Saturday?

It just doesn't seem right does it? I'm sure there are plenty of you who work on Saturday's....I'm just not one of then and to be honest, I'm not sure I like it. The fact that I'm all by myself doesn't really help either. But as of right now I'm done, finished for the weekend. Stupid to be complaining about working when I only had to work 4 hours, I am getting paid after all!

The rain is pounding so hard that it has sprung a leak in the roof. I love the rain; I love it so much that I had to run around in it for while even though I was supposed to be working. It's the drenching rain, the kind that if you step outside for 10 seconds you are completely soaked! To anyone who is driving around in this weather; please, please be very careful.

I've had such an eventful week, I think I shall share it with you all.

Monday: work and softball. We lost, but so what? Like a good friend told me: "Losing builds character."

Tuesday: Ah yes, Tuesday. Tuesday, I had to get 4 shots which included a TB skin test. For the skin test the nurse slid a needle under the surface of my skin and injected something which made a round, white bubble. It didn't hurt a bit and it was fascinating to watch. My only complaint is that it left a bruise. One of the other shots she gave me hit a blood vessel which popped and made my arm really sore, but I've decided it was worth it. Vaccinations really are a good thing.
After that it was off to work and then book study. I was supposed to head up to the "Y" at 4:30 for my twice a week workout class, but my arms were way to sore.

Wednesday: I GOT THE DAY OFF!!!! So Kelsey Beld, Mandy Holden and I all went to down to Seattle for the day. It would take a whole new post to tell you all the things we did and how much fun we had doing it so I'll shall just say it was super fun! Thanks to my dear sister Kelsey for filling in for me at work.

Thursday: I got the results of my TB test. I'm pleased to announce that I do not have Tuberculosis. Thursday is another day that I'm supposed to go up to the "Y", but my arms were still way to sore.

Friday: After a looooong day at work Kelsey and I went over to the Holden's for a girl’s movie night! Ahhh....Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken...what a good show! The pizza was yummy and so were the cookies. Even though I fell asleep during the 2nd movie it was still a wonderful time. Kyle, Ryan and I believe Russell t.p'd. our cars while we were inside. They tied very nice bows on them, quite impressive for boys.

Well, I believe that brings you up to the present. I'm thinking about heading home even though I would rather wait until the rain lets up a bit. I was hoping for a good game or two of tennis, but it looks like I may have to wait until tomorrow.

Farewell, my friends and to those of you who are in college right now.....HURRY HOME!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ALL OF YOU!!!
