Today I did laundry in the sink to save 50 cents on not using the washing
machine!

Kimi, during my last years of college I lived in an on-campus apartment. The laundry facilities were on the opposite side of campus in the women's dorm. Needless to say, I did laundry by hand sometimes! :-) Did you use a dryer or did you find handy places to dry things around your room?

Just think about all the things you can use that 50 cents on??? And also if you do this more often it will add up! I think you are getting the idea of what it means to be a college student! LOL

I think laundry is a perfectly reasonable and necessary expenditure of $00.50.

Good job being so careful with your money Kimi. :) I am also glad to know you're still alive out there. I was starting to wonder...

You're in my prayers!

I still think laundry is a perfectly reasonable expenditure of the considerable sum of 50 cents. :)

Rebekah, I hope one day you come to understand the great sense of accomplishment that you feel when you embark on such money saving endevours as Kimi shared with us.

Yes indeed, Crystal. I just laughed at myself as I contemplated how I think that $0.99 is too much to pay for a song download when I have been paying .88 from Walmart. But it feels like such a rip off to spend .11 cents more! lol I know it is silly but I honestly think that way sometimes. :)

Well Abbie, think of it this way: buy 8, get one free!

The 50 cents have veen adding up each week, and as a result, I may be able to come home for Christmas!!
