My Darling Sister Kelsey

Okay, so my ankle has been sore for the past week or so and then today around 11:00 it really started hurting. Hurting as in I couldn't/can't walk.

Kimi:
"Kelsey, would you mind getting me some ice?"

Kelsey:
"Why don't you just stick your foot in the freezer?"

Uh-uh, yeah, thanks Kelsey. I made it through work by biting my tongue really hard so I wouldn't think about my ankle. Finally it was time to go home. As Kelsey and I were walking on the street toward the parkade Kelsey says;

"Kimi, I'll limp like you are so you won't look like a dork all by yourself."

Sure she did.....instead she walks far ahead of me and starts taking the steps two and a time while I hop up each one slowly.

Later in the car:
Kimi:
"Kelsey, I don't think I can drive home."
Kelsey:
"Well, I can push the pedals for you if you steer."

Needless to say I don't think she was taking me very seriously, but once she say how swollen my ankle really was she was a dear girl. Very helpful and sweet:)
Love ya George!!!

Do you two work at the same place?

Yep. At first it was just me and then one day it was really busy so I told my boss Kelsey could come do some stuff to help out for a day or two. It ended in her being offered a job, I take full credit ;)

that's Kelsey for you--more witty than I could ever hope to be. Yet she sounds so sweet and sincere at the same time, in fact, I really think she is sincere! I could totally picture her putting her own foot in a freezer... hopefully I'm wrong though, cause that would be kind of gross.

Hi Karin!!!!!!!!!! How are you sweet sister? I love you soooooooo much and can't wait till I get to see you. Hurry home so we can all watch Pride & Prejudice together K? Hugs!

You know Crystal, Logos is always looking for more people to work in customer support. Come by someday and drop off your application. Do you know Dan P? He doesn't do the hiring, but you could always talk to him.

Lydia, remember what I said about you working at Logos when you're old enough okay? You and Kaylie and Josiah could all work togther!!!!!

Thanks for the info Kimi...I just might have to do that sometime because I just got word yesterday that my current job, which I dearly love, is going to be eliminated in the next few months. Unless something happens between now and then there is only enough money in the budget to keep me going through the end of Feb. or so and then I will be jobless. I know the Lord has a plan and I am trying not to cry about it too much. I love everyone here and just never thought that my time here would come to an end quite like this. I know things will work out for the best but now I have to reconside all my options and try to figure out what I am going to do after that. Prayers would be welcome!
