"Bring on the Rain" ~JoDee Messina

Another day has almost come and gone
Cant imagine what else could wrong
Sometimes Id like to hide away somewhere and lock the door
A single battle lost but not the war (cause)

Tomorrows another day
And Im thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain

Its almost like the hard times circle round
A couple drops and they all start coming down
Yeah, I might feel defeated,
I might hang my head
I might be barely breathing - but Im not dead

Tomorrows another day
And Im thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain

Im not gonna let it get me down
Im not gonna cry
And Im not gonna lose any sleep tonight (cause)

Tomorrows another day
And I am not afraid
So bring on the rain

I love that song. I haven't heard it in a long time but I really liked it when I heard it. It is a stubborn song and yet tender in it's own way. Not vengeful or angry but matter of fact and honest. This song will make me cry if I am in the right mood otherwise its more of a battle cry and I like it then too!

Hey Kimi, how 'bout posting on "the lost woman" since it's been nearly a year since your first and only post? :)

I really wish I could find a link to put up so you could all hear the song, it's so very pretty.

Abbie, You're right, Kristi and I really need to put something on there don't we? I'll see what I can do about that.
