Yes I know this is the third post in one day, but I just had such an amazing time I have to tell you about it.

I was well on my way to bed, I know, I know it's still early, but I was exhausted from working all day. Anyway, on my way upstairs Karin stopped me and said: "Hey Kim, I'm going out for a midnight walk wanna join me?" I couldn't resist.

As you all know Karin and I are on break from Florida and we don't have a bit of snow clothes. So we put on our warmest sweats and then over that we put on Karin's scrub pants. I used socks for mittens and Karin wrapped plastic garbage bags around her legs to keep the snow out. Yeah, we looked pretty good!
Once outside we walked up and down our lane and then Karin had a brilliant plan. She decided we should go to the middle of the road (not our private lane, but the real road) and lie down in the middle of it. That was great until the cars came and we almost died. (the cars had a real hard time stopping suddenly on the ice)

After that Karin wanted to fall straight back into the snow. Well, I watched her do it so gracefully and then I tried it. I must weigh allot more than her because I sank straight to the ground and got the wind knocked out of me. In fact my head is still hurting from it. We told each other our deepest, darkest secrets and giggled like little kids. Then Karin spied her car buried in about ten inches of snow. As she attempted to scrape it all off with her boot I started throwing snowballs and Kelsey and Kaylie's window trying to wake them up. I found out that if the snow does not pack well just spit on it and then let it freeze. I know, that's not very ladylike, but it works!!!!

Ahhhhh Karin just made me a cup of cocoa with Hershey's syrup...so much for my diet. I must be off, I still have more secrets to tell my sister!

sidenote

Never ever, ever, ask for whipped cream on green tea. The two just don't go together.

It Snowed!

You guys, this is the first time I've seen snow this fall/winter! My friends in Florida are going to be so jealous. It is a little to cold for me though. Right now I'm wearting about three layers plus a hat and scarf even though I'm in Logos and they keep the temperature at 71.

I'm glad it came before I go back to school. Sun and Beach here I come!

"Bring on the Rain" ~JoDee Messina

Another day has almost come and gone
Cant imagine what else could wrong
Sometimes Id like to hide away somewhere and lock the door
A single battle lost but not the war (cause)

Tomorrows another day
And Im thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain

Its almost like the hard times circle round
A couple drops and they all start coming down
Yeah, I might feel defeated,
I might hang my head
I might be barely breathing - but Im not dead

Tomorrows another day
And Im thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain

Im not gonna let it get me down
Im not gonna cry
And Im not gonna lose any sleep tonight (cause)

Tomorrows another day
And I am not afraid
So bring on the rain
