Spring Cleaning

Wow, so far today it's been pretty crazy. My mom woke us up early and announced that today would be "spring cleaning day". Usually the sound of that would make me groan, but then I realized spring cleaning, which includes running up and down the stairs while carrying huge boxes would be a great way lose some calories. So right away I threw myself into helping mom. We worked for hours moving Josiah's stuff from the computer room into the laundry room. It's so awesome, Josiah is upgrading! You know, I don't think he has ever had a real room in his life. In Moscow he slept in a closet under the stairs and then a family room and so on. O.K. I'm getting off track:) I think I went up and down the stairs 71 and 1/2 times. (The half time was when I went up half way and then fell down backwards:)
Once, while Josiah and Mom where moving his bed Joe goes "Ouch". He lifts up his foot to discover there is a big, silver tack imbedded in his heel. Me, being the helpful, calm sister that I am closed my eyes and covered my ears until I was sure he had pulled it out!

I was feeling so good about all the calories I was losing, so good in fact that I went upstairs and ate a bowl of ice-cream with peanut butter on top. "Sigh" I don't know why I did that.

Later, Mom and I were feeling tired so I drove to the gas station (only 1 mile away) which had an espresso stop(aren't I lucky?) to get a latte. I think it was my third cup of the day. I need coffee the way Chris needs his Mt Dew!!
When I got home I ran upstairs to find Kelsey choking in the bathroom. She had apparently dumped out a whole can of comet in her zeal to clean the bathtub. I'm serious you could NOT breath in there. That comet along with Windex I had been using all morning and my three coffees I had where NOT a good combination, (Oh wait....wow, I just saw a preview for "The Kingdom of Heaven". It looks so good, let's watch it someday) Whoops, sorry about that:) Like I was saying, the combination of everything was making me rather tipsy for a while and then down right crummy. I passed out on the couch and didn't wake up till just a little while ago.

I'm so glad no one can see how I look, my eyes are doing something strange and my hair is standing straight up not to mention I'm not wearing any makeup except for last night smeared mascara. Jill, I really wanted to go to the play with you tonight, but I just don't think it's gonna work out, sorry:(

One good thing I'd like to say is that we bought a new computer! The screen is so big; I think it's bigger than our school TV. We had to rearrange the whole downstairs for this new guy(computer) but I think it's worth it.

See ya all laterz, I hope I won't look this way tomorrow:) Happy Earth Day, oh wait, that was last week, never mind.

I never know how to begin a new post. I mean I know how to get to this page and everything, but I don't know what to start writing about:( Is it supposed to be some introductory thing or do you just dive right in to whatever?

O.K. so enough with that:)

Work was so slow today, I kept staring out the window wishing I could go tubing or something. Will someone please take me? I have a boat, I just need someone who knows how to drive it!

When I was getting in my car after work, I noticed someone had put two very gorgeous flowers on the trunk. I wonder who did it. Anybody know? I thought it was a very nice gift, hmm...Maybe it was an early birthday present!

I sometimes wonder at the things my brother does. Today at dinner, Josiah picks up the water pitcher and for no reason dumps part of it on my head!? I now understand why God chose to give me only one brother!

I wish I could think of more things to write about, during the day my head is filled with ideas of what I could say next, but when I sit down at the computer I go completely blank! Sigh, I guess I was not made to be a writer....but, maybe I was made to be an FBI agent, or the President, or something....

SEE YA LATER,

I made through my first class at WCC!! I would like to say it was a college class, but sadly it was just a bunch of highschoolers preparing for the new SAT. My teachers are hilarious, mainly my math teacher. We were all working on this really hard problem for like 10 minutes when he goes "Stupid problem, let's move on to the next one!"

I was kinda surprised they gave so much homework, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get all done, I have a really full week ahead of me.

There so so much more I want to say, but Mother Dear is insisting I go get some dinner. Later dear peoples.

WE WON!!!

I am so completely happy right now. My softball team did so awesome tonight! I can't believe we actually won a game. Before the game started a bunch of the girls were all like not feeling good and tired and sore. I was thinking "oh great," this sure is going to be a good night(sarcastic). Once the game started everything just fell into place, I got to play first base the whole game, I LOVE first base, I wish I could be there all the time.
I'm so proud of all my teammates, they are so great about encouraging everyone and cheering for each other. Let's hope we have a ton more games like this one. Lots of credit goes to Mr. E. He really helped us out tonight, he's an awesome base runner:) You should have seen him!
I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight. I was so psyched after the game and then I bought a latte and had a cookie:) I feel like running up and down our lane a million times.....maybe I will:)

Goodnight all, until we meet again let's us each one strive to become better softball players! (I'm making no sense:) O.K. I think I've said enough for now, see ya later..................................

I love you Josiah!

O.K. I know you already know this, but I'm gonna say it again. I LOVE MY BROTHER!! Yesterday, Josiah and I were having an argument. I started getting really fed up with him and started walking away. He follows me out of the room and says to me in a completely serious voice;

"Kimi, you along with my other sisters have first place in my heart 100% of the time!"

Needless to say I completely forgot why I was upset with him and forgave him everything he had ever done to me. This just goes to show you that "A harsh word stirs up anger, but a gentle answer turns away wrath" (proverbs)

I love you Josiah! You're the best:)

Best day of the week!

I just love Wednesday! It's the day where you get to relax a little before finishing the week. I know that's now true for all of you, but it is for me! I have the day off today and I know I should be doing more school, but I just can't when it's so sunny outside! Josiah and I are going to head out to Bender Fields where he is going to teach me how NOT to let ground balls get by me. After that we are going to give my car a bath, it really, really needs it.

I'm so happy, my Mom and I just got finished with my plane tickets to N.C. Even though they are $100 more than I thought it would be I'm still excited. It looks like Karin might come with Kristi and I (if she gets work off)!!! We are going to have so much fun on that plane, I'm already starting to feel sorry for the pilot!

I hope everything is going well with everybody. Have fun doing school or work while I'm playing!!!!!!!!!!

A little embarrassing:)

I had a somewhat minor embarrassing thing happened to me at work today, I don't know why but I'm going to tell you about it.

It was getting towards the end of the day and Kelsey and I were just cleaning up a bit when I decided to take the carboard out to dumpster in the alley. So, I piled the carboard on this little squeaky cart we have and started to head outside. When I was going around a corner the carboard all started falling off. I didn't think that was very nice of the carboard so I told the them to behave or else I wouldn't take them anywhere. Once I got outside the carboard started flying away everywhere. I was getting very annoyed with it and so I started jumping on them and telling them that this was not funny and I needed to get my work done. Yes, I was doing this out loud! So here I am talking to the carboard as if it were some kids I'm babysitting when I hear some people laughing. I look up and there is like 6 construction workers all leaning against their trucks with arms folded staring and me and laughing! I was not about to let on how embarrassed I was so I smiled very sweetly and told them all to have a very nice day! They just shook their heads and went back to work leaving me to dispose of that horrid, awful carboard. Caleb, next time you can take it out, o.k.?

Yeah, so I realize that was a really boring story, but I felt like telling it. I love my job:) At least one freaky or embarrassing or hilarious thing happens each day!

Guess what? I finely got my check from the I.R.S.!!!!!!!! It was more than I thought it would be. So, who wants to go shopping on Saturday? I'm going to the mall as soon as it opens. I have this huge list of things to buy and I could really use some expert fashion advice:) I really need help on picking out a dress for my cousins wedding in North Carolina and then of course shoes to go with it!! Anyone know of any sales going on?

O.K. I'm done for the night, time to go exercise................See ya.............

Today I'm having a terrible time concentrating on my schoolwork. I think it's because I'm so close to being done with highschool I just don't feel very motivated. I have already taken my SAT's and finished almost all my highschool requirements. I'm going to be graduating in 6 weeks!! It's weird thinking that highschool will now only be a memory. I remember being in junior high thinking that 4 more years of school would take forever. Now that it's so close to being done I'm starting to miss it and wanting to do it all over again. I guess that's what college is for:)

Right now the bright sun is calling me outside, maybe I'll be able to study better our there. Wish me luck as I attempt to right yet another essay.

Simple ways to have fun

Five Simple ways to have some fun;

1.Pay for your dinner with pennies.

2.Inform others that they exist only in your imagination

3. Follow a few paces behind someone, spraying everything they touch with a can of Lysol.

4. Ask the waitress for an extra seat for your "imaginary friend."

5.Wander around the restaurant, asking other diners for their parsley.

Five ways to freak out your roommate;

1.While your roommate is out, glue your shoes to the ceiling. When your roommate walks in, sit on the floor, hold your head, and moan.

2. Talk back to your Rice Krispies. All of a sudden, act offended, throw the bowl on the floor and kick it. Refuse to clean it up, explaining, "No, I want to watch them suffer."

3. Collect hundreds of pens and pile them on one side of the room. Keep one pencil on the other side of the room. Laugh at the pencil.

4. Buy some knives. Sharpen them every night. While you're doing so, look at your roommate and mutter, ''Soon, soon....''

5. Collect potatoes. Paint faces on them and give them names. Name one after your roommate. Separate your roommate's potato from the others. Wait a few days, and then bake your roommate's potato and eat it. Explain to your roommate, ''He just didn't belong.''

In the elevator...
when the door closes, grab the nearest person and yell, "ITS OK! THEY WILL OPEN AGAIN!"

make a beeping noise every 3 seconds...don't move

open purse and whisper, "Got enough air?"

push every button on the way down.

Make a loud WOOSHHH when the door opens

Megan

I'm convinced I babysit the most adorable girl in America, no wait, the whole world! She is just to cute, she's only two but acts way older. The other day when I was leaving her house she turns to me and says "Goodbye dear, drive safely!" Did I mention she is only two?
Anyway this Saturday I get to babysit her all afternoon and evening, we've already decided what we are going to do. We are going to go down to Squalicom (they live right by the highschool) and watch for kitty-cats and butterflies and chase away the bees.

In July Megan is going to have a baby sister, so now she insists everyone call her "Little Mama". She's planning on teaching her sister everything, how to eat, walk, talk, the wonders of Barney the Dinosaur, and most of all how to play puppets. I wish so bad Megs would stay this age forever. She is such a perfect little girl.

Caleb Will Now Be Known As Mr. Fix-it!

Ok ok ok...So I usually break more things than I fix, but I'm glad that you only have one blog now. Let me guess, you figured that seven blogs matched well with your blog title, right?

I'm done -- happy blogging to you.

Draw nearer to Jesus today, and glorify Him in all you do, Kimi.

Only by His grace,

My finger!!!!!!

Why is my index finger swelling up right now? I looked down at my hand because it felt weird and it seriously looks like there is a potato on my finger. (a small potato) Now it's going numb, wait, my whole arm is going numb, well I'm sure going to have fun driving home today, left handed on the free-way!
Kristi, I wish you could see this, I'm looking right at my finger and you can see it starting to return to normal, this is so cool!!
Kelsey doesn't think there is anything wrong with it, then again she never thinks there is anything wrong with me:)

O.K. tomorrow, I honestly will say something worthwhile and interesting. (I think)

Hi

Hi everyone,
I feel so weird doing this and very self-conscious. I decided that is was time that I got a blog. I hope I don't make any major mistakes with it or anything!
I know that so far this is very boring, but soon I'll have some wonderous things to tell you all:)
